The Hamburg Innovation Awards celebrate outstanding innovations across all industries and company sizes. The awards span three categories:

• Idea: For brand-new or pre-startup phase businesses that want expert feedback on their concepts.

• Start: For companies under 10 years old, already active in the market.

• Growth: For established businesses showcasing their latest innovations.

The motto “Innovations made in Hamburg, worth sharing with the world” aligns perfectly with Fristam’s own story. With over 115 years of innovation rooted in Hamburg, we proudly continue to design and build our hygienic pumps in the city where it all began.

This year’s competition featured a wide range of exceptional technologies. We’re proud and grateful to have won the Growth category, facing strong competition from across the region.

We received our award from Katharina Fegebank, Second Mayor of Hamburg and member of Alliance 90/The Greens.

What innovation earned us this recognition?

Our latest development introduces a revolutionary energy recovery feature. This technology allows users to reclaim energy generated during the pumping process and reuse it in production. The goal: reduce electricity consumption, lower operating costs, and minimise environmental impact by recycling energy that would otherwise go to waste.

This innovation is currently completing its final field-testing phase. We’ll share more technical details very soon.
